A friend made these from sketches I gave him. A nice bird and trout and a small multi purpose blade both forged from coil spring stock with elk scales and brass pins. He does some cool leather work too.

Neat blades, lots of character. They look like great slicers. The sheath style is a good fit for them!

Thanks for the comments. Both of these knives feel like they become part of your hand when you use them. And they are slicers! Leonard made this sheath with just a flap to tuck behind the belt instead of a loop... another nice "old time" touch.

Digging on the native americanesque sheath. I like that alot. Nice looking blades too.

Here are a couple more of Leonard's sheaths. Check out the use of the old silver spoon for belt attatchment.

You have a coupla real nice knives ther. I like the use of the spoon, takes imagination to change function like that.

cool little blades there, nice sheaths too.

loving that spoon-turned-clip, very clever idea.

Personally I really like the Bird and Trout. Looks like you would have total control for intricate cutting. Great looking stuff.
