Trying to raise funds for a Euro Barlow... no trades, please, unless you have a Euro Barlow you're wanting to trade off, in which case I can send you both of these
!
First unqualified "I'll take it" here in the thread gets the knife.
All prices are shipped CONUS - Payment via Paypal, (goods and services please add 3%). I will try to get any knives purchased over the weekend out by Monday, others as time permits, please be aware it may take me a day or two to get them out during the week due to an extremely busy schedule.
I reserve the right to decline to sell to anyone I wish.
GEC 15 Navy Knife in Cola jigged bone. This is from the original run of 49 carbon steel navy knives. I didn't care for the shape of the blade or the bail, so I wharncliffed it and pinned through the bail hole. It's still nicely pichable. I left the "Navy Knife" etch on there as proof that I didn't cook and refinish the blade. Speaking of, there are some fine scratches on the back side of the blade, I'm guessing from having it laying on my belt sander while grinding it down. I have a photo, if anyone cares to see it. I sharpened it up and carried it a few times. I don't love straight-edge knives I guess. Blade is really nicely centered. Pretty neat, and definitely unique! I have the tube, but it doesn't come with a button ~ $65 ~ I guess this one is back up and available
Here's the best shot I could get of the scratches, they're hard to show unless the light his them just right
and here's what it looks like closed:
GEC #14 Boy's knife in OD Green Micarta. Bought used, has been sharpened, has some swirlies from the previous owner and some pepper spots here and there on the blades, liners and springs. It also has a little divot (for lack of a better term) just in front of the nail nick on the main blade only visible under certain light. There's one rough transition from bolster to Micarta, if that really bothers you. Neat little knife, but if I'm carrying something in this size class, it's a Peanut because of the point. ~ $55 Sold
