For two very good friends of mine in Maine. Still lots of things to improve (like photography as you can tell) but I am happy to see some progress. 1095, mild steel guard, can't remember the wood's name though. About 7" OAL with 3" blades.

Your finish and polish work is top notch.I like the bottom handle a little better.I also like the sheaths.

Just on a personal preference note,I like for the blade to be very close to the same size as the handle just under the guard. To me it just seems to make the overall shape of the knife flow better. That's just my personal opinion though so it's worth about as much as you paid for it.

Good job!!

Thanks for the good words R.H.
I know what you mean about the handle in relation to the blade. The knives kind of just "happened" that way and I wanted to see how it would look. I agree that the next ones will lean more toward the way you describe. I must say though that they seem very comfortable to use.
The wavy handle was made that way because my friend has MS and sometimes has trouble with his right hand. I wanted to give him a little more grip. Not sure if it will help but I figured I'd try it.

Well if i recieved one of those i would be a happy camper:D! Good work Pat i'm sure your friends will be happy campers as well!
Are they forged or stock removal?
