Here are two that have been sitting in my gun cabinet for a long long time. One is a big Steve Shiffer forged bowie and the other is a big Browning Fitch camp knife/hunter Master series.
The Shiffer is 01 as I understand it, a nice thick hand made sheath dyed black to match the carbon fiber handle of the bowie. I am thinking the blade is about 8" maybe a wee bit longer and about 3/16" at the guard. Guard is milled s.s. and the handle as a full tang reaching almost to the end of the carbon fiber handle. This was on the front page of his website. Extremely well made and pretty sharp and kind of a classic profile that would lend itself well to combat arms or camp knife duties. Blade heavy and sharp with a slight convex edge. I don't even know if Mr. Shiffer is making knives anymore actually. 175 plus shipping. That is 175 net to me and 12 bucks to ship it USPS PM with d/c and insurance.
Next is a Browning Master Series large hunter/camp knife. Similar to a knife that Big John Fitch makes. This is indeed a fistful of knife too. It is etched 96 ss of 100 on the right side. It is my understanding after talking with a Browning rep that this signifies it was a salesman sample. It is not gaudily marked either but very tastefully done. Small block letter about 3/32" tall. Almost if not quite 3/16 at the spine and fully flat ground with a gorgeous piece of maple for the handle. Sheath could be better but it ain't bad considering how much it has sat in a sock drawer and then gun cabinet! Has a nice distal taper to the blade and narry a scratch on it. Extremely sharp too, just a very very good bite to the edge. 175 net or B/O plus the 12 bucks for shipping. thanks and keepem sharp
PS I take pp or m.o. PP is just faster.
