Here are two small wheels that I use often when other wheels are too large to clean up behind the plunge line. The first one came about when I damaged a 1/2 inch small wheel and peeled all the rest of the rubber off the axle leaving a 3/8 inch spindle. Then I decided that I wanted a 1/4 inch small wheel and so I asked a machinist friend for some help. I bought the pair of bearings and asked for a 1/4 inch spindle. I thought the machinist would turn a spindle to fit the bearings and turn the center of the spindle to 1/4 but he surprised me by making brass bushings to fit the bearings and the spindle. I don't use these wheels on every knife but I use them frequently and cannot live without them. Fine round files could do the same job but this is quick and always looks nice. I just thought that some of you would want to see these and maybe make up a couple of your own. Larry
