It is the Cudeman 325 w 9.5cm (3.75 inch) blade, right?
Have it and love it! Oiled the handle with olive oil. Like the results. Very good knife.

Hi from Sweden btw. :)

I've used Olive quite a bit & it goes without saying wear a mask, it's known more as a irritant of the respiratory system. It smells lovely when being worked, of course you shouldn't be able to smell it!! :)

Below are two knives made by me with Olive wood from a fire wood stack!

I've always loved the look of Olive wood. I wish we'd see more of it stateside. Blondes on general don't seem to be as popular here.

Yes it is a nice knife, if you rub it with very fine wire wool & oil it a few times over days/weeks it'll look much better than when new, it'll start to "glow".

If you are suggesting the pattern belongs to to them you might want to Google "barrel knife" & enjoy reading.
A traditional sweedish knife made since by many custom makers.

The olive one is the largest one I've made at 7" folded! Others I have made here- http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1442159-Barrel-Knives?p=16608781#post16608781
