Well 1st of all I broke the forums again the other day, actually it seemed to be my WebTV unit for some reason.

I think I now have the problem solved, at least I Most Certainly hope so.
Ever since 09-14-2000 07:13 p.m.
the "last time visited date" has set on that time.
I found out how to clear the cookies off the WebTV unit and now the date and time are working again.
I e-mailed Jaeger who's also on WebTV and he said his date and time has always worked correctly so hopefully the problem is fixed and if anyone else on WebTV has the problem they can e-mail me for the fix.
If this daymed thing breaks the forums again I guess I will be forced to get a computer when we get our taxes back.

I have been kinda afraid to post, but we'll see I guess.

The chopping?
YEAH!!!! I had almost forgotten about this.
Ever seen one of those fiberglass filters for swimming pools?
This one belonged to our daughter in Phoenix and in moving it back after a repair she damaged it beyond what she wanted to repair.
I took my 18" AK to it.
I chopped a hole in the side of it and proceeded from there until I ran out of steam. I am proud to say that Penny didn't have much work to finish up with her power saw to get it in small enough pieces to get it in the large trash can.
The AK's edge was slightly rolled and after a touch up with the chakma it was ready to go again.

Those dayumed fiberglass filters are TOUGH!!!!

Yvsa,

Is it an actual filter that you chopped up or a fibreglass housing for filtration?

The computers around here are behaving strangely too. Bladeforms disappeared for a while. The computers have been shutting down due to power outages. Now strange erros suddenly cropping up.

Will it was the fiberglass houseing and it was full of sand.
It was about 3 feet in dia and maybe 3 1/2 - 4 feet high.
I think the sand probably done as much or more damage to the edge than the fiberglass.

I did this right after the Khukuri Khon in Reno last Sept. I took a little break from starting on the plain as forged blades I brought back from Uncle Bill's.
