• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

finally got my forge together, needs some tuning some itc and some front door work, but not too bad, the other "thing" is my anvil, it's a work in progress too, needs some flattening and polishing and hardening if possible. it's about 170 pounds, so it's a good start, i'll start saving for a nimba soon
let me know what you think

Sweet setup, bro... I'd love to watch you harden that pig of a block of steel! I suppose if you used a cow roast pit for a day or two to heat 'er up, and then quenched in your neighbor's in-ground pool you could pull it off, no?

What kind of burner is that? Is it a Rex? How do you like it?

yeah, i am still working on a plan for hardening, it'll come to me, yeah, the burner is a t-rex, i like it a lot, easy setup, looks, sounds and heats great,
i testfired the forge last night, heated up some mild steel rod, it worked great, sounded like a little jet at around 10 psi, brought the bar up to a nice redish orange heat in a couple minutes, i really need the itc and a better door on the front to keep more heat in the chamber, but it's coming along
