A current 110 project

Thanks for the great pics Muskrat. I have been debating a similar project but had no clue where to begin. I can't wait to see your end result!

Well, here it is, my $4 buck 110. The pictures aren't the best, I don't have real good light setup.

Hey Muskrat Man, enjoyed looking at your gallery of previously modified Bucks. I have a question for you. Did any of those have hollow ground SS blades? If so, what tools did you use to polish down and eliminate the scratches? I'm wrestling with an old blade from the 70's that needs polishing badly. I started polishing by hand with 320 grit wet paper attached to a flat (polished) piece of granite tile. After 1/2 hour, the flats look good, but now I see the concave area that wasn't polished. How do you get the scratches out of that untouched part of the blade? If needed, I can post photos of the partially polished blade to show my problem. Thanks for any advice. Your knives look great!

Thanks S. Dave, they were hollow ground. Some I left the scratches in. I have always left the satin factory type finish, which I achive by using a scotch brite wheel. You can hand sand with a single finger to even out all of the factory "brushed" scratches on the concave, but I have always took a liking to the matte factory finish. I hope this helps.?
