Been meaning to post this one, it's handled in Lignum Vitae with a red liner sandwhiched between two black liners and glowing epoxy packed into the lanyard hole plus mosiac pins.

Nicest S1 I've seen...at least for my tastes. Only thing is that I don't know if I like the blade now that I have it in hand :p it doesn't speak to me like my F1 does...for a blad like this, I would rather not have the swedge and have a 1/2'' more handle for my bigger hands. I might end up selling it, but I had to show you guys first :D

It's really cool, got kind of a striped pattern in the wood with light wood having greenish veins running throughout. This is probably one of the heartiest woods out there too. It was used as bearings in bomber bay doors in WW2 and has been used in many aspects such as wooden hammers. Tough, self lubricating, doesn't rott, it's much like teak and everyone knows the longevity of that stuff.

Really pretty work! That wood is stunning!

Looks good. Lignum is pretty cool stuff and easy to work with. I rehandled my S1 with stabilized maple but it was a mortised tang.

Who did the rehandle job? BRKT?

Those liners and pins look fantastic with the wood scales. Very nice knife.

I have absolutely no idea, I snagged it off the bay for a song thinking it would be a good knife for me.....I just can't see it on my hip though :p I think I might do a rehandle on a F1 with some lignum slabs I picked up off the bay to replace it.

Ever since I saw the Mike Stewart rehandled fallknivens, I've been wanting one badly. I have to agree that the swedge does detract from what is otherwise an awesome all round bushcrafter.

I tend to prefer the custom F1's (Derrick has a pile of 'em) for that reason. They look absolutely stunning - unfortunately whenever I get ready to pull the trigger my eyes start to wonder to the custom makers, especially since I can get 2 knives for the price of one F1......Maybe when I'm rich (or one of the kids moves out).....
