I know that this probably doesn't belong in general knife discussion but I posted a similar question a while back in the custom knife forum and most of the replies I received was " you should go to the Blade Show" well I wasn't able to go and I am looking for a custom knife maker that uses premium materials (titanium, superior quality steel) and still is taking orders. I am afraid patience isn't one of my virtues and their are a great number of makers out there with a huge demand but I feel like if they don't have their books open then they don't need my business. Thanks guys!

Tobin Smith can be found here on the forums. I have three of his knives and his fit and finish is on par with makers costing much more! He is also a stand up guy:thumbup:

If you don't have patience, how could you wait long enough for the custom maker to build one for you?

There's lots of makers here that can make you a knife. I'm one and depending on design I might could make you a blade. Email me if interested.

If you are looking for a fixed blade, check out Big Chris customs. He uses O-1, 440, 3V, 10V, S90V, just about anything and he is a great guy to deal with.

There is a certain excitement knowing that you are having a knife made for you, but that doesn't come from waiting for a few months or even years to wait to have a knife made for you.
