My Peer Ilya made this amazing mosaic saber this past summer and asked if I would post it here for sale. This Saber is for sale to the public at a discounted price for a very short time before it goes to one of our dealers.

Blade shape based on the Hungarian sabre in the metropolitan museum. Garniture based on the sabre description in the Kremlin Armoury. The hilt is forged from three pieces of wrought iron forge welded together and gold leafed after hand engraving. The pommel is cast bronze from an original sculpt by Ilya. The stones are garnet set in 14k gold settings. The blade is made up of hundreds of bars that have 40+ layers of 15N20 and 1075. Some of the bars also have crucible steel mixed in.

This sword was a long journey for Ilya as he researched and played with many techniques that resulted in this piece. The blade is light and fast and has a keen edge. The spine has been upset resulting in a rigid blade.

The sword does not yet have a scabbard but Ilya is willing to make a period correct one to fit if the buyer wishes.

The retail on this sword is $8,500. For a very limited time we are offering it for $3,250.
Post here or message me for details.
