Thank you for a most excellent WIP. I do have a question if I may.
Why do you not go through the chemical etching process and final finishing
of the blade before installing the handle?
 
Trebajo excellante!! I always enjoy seeing other makers techniques and I learned some new tips I'm definitely going to try. Mainly, using nail polish to etch after completion. I've been wondering it this would be possible and now I know. Thanlks for taking the time to share.

Hello Jonathans. I've done both ways. But today I have preferred to treatment damascus with mounted knife. In rare exceptions do otherwise. It's just a matter of choice, but the two ways work well! Regards.
