A Damascus fossil walrus artifact Bowie W/sheath "SOLD"

Here is a artifact walrus ivory knife that was a hide scraper that was cut off to make the handle. Found on St. Lawrence Island in Alaska by Inuit Eskimos and the artifact was made by Siberian Eskimos about 2,000 yrs ago. A rare handle. Fittings are nickel silver and sterling silver ferrule. I made the Damascus for it with 1084 steel laminated with 15n20 and forge welded. The pattern is chevron. Was heat treated to 58 to 59 on the Rockwell scale. Will hold a great edge. The blade is 9 1/16 inches long and 14 3/8" overall and comes with a handmade sheath by Gene Peacock
