So i got my edc knife (gerber fast draw its a nice knife)
I got my working knife my stanley folding pocket knife (its like a long box cutter blade for those who dont know, its amazing for the box cutting task)
Now all i need is an inexpensive (20-30$) small fixed blade knife (like in the 3 to 3 1/2 inch area)
Im not looking for a ton from the knife i just want it to be like a backup that ima leave hooked to my work pants/ belt (so im looking for either a case with a clip or a belt loop case) incase i forget my box cutter at home, or leave it in the back room (like a frequently do) and have to cut a few peaces of plastic or tape, nothing hard use or stressful on the knife)

Also ill prob use it for some minor food prep on occasion.

Any suggestions are welcomed, most likely ill buy off amazon, also telling me the price of what you suggest, and even a picture would help alot.

Thanks for your time appreciate the help.

literally anything by kershaw would be excellent. They make quite a few sub $30 knives that come shaving sharp and hold up nicely

Sounds like the eskabar is perfect for you!

Not even just a few bucks more? I assure you it is worth it.

If I remember correctly, I got it from ebay a few months ago for 36 bucks.

i mean i could try but my money is really tight lately considering i can only find a part time job and being a younger male my car insurance is outrageous in nj so its like 85% of my check. That and my gf is harping on my telling me not to spend more money on knives, i got a bunch of folders but no fixed blades and i wanna carry a fixed blade with me when im actually gonna use my knife because its so much easier to grab it then a folder.

I've purchased 2 Eskabars on ebay now, $33 shipped for each. Im sure you could find a couple extra bucks in change on the floor of your car or under the cushions of your couch! ;)

Or, if money is that tight maybe make due with what you have and wait on a new blade.

how do you even paracord wrap the handle, idk how to do it.

i was looking at bucks but they all look big and bulky, i need somethin smaller

Have you looked at the Buck Paklite Skinner or the Paklite Caper?

Those are not big and bulky at all. I own the Paklite Skinner and it's a really nice fixed blade for the money.

are there different sized skinners? because i seen 1 in walmart and it looked much larger then ppl describe it to be.

No. I think there is only one side of the Skinner. It's 6 5/8" full length, with a 2 7/8" blade. Most folks would consider a <3" blade length fixed blade to be on the small end. The BK Eskabar pictured above is a little bit longer (7" with 3" blade), for example. An ESEE Izula II is virtually the same size as the Buck, at 6 3/4" full length.

That is another solid workhorse of a knife

Its easy, just youtube it. The picture I posted, that was my first time trying it, took 10 minutes tops.

so would u reccomend the cold steel pendleton lite? (im not impulsively making any decisions here i dont wanna regret w,e i get is gonna see alot of work time)

Yes, but it isn't as thick. For the jobs you need it for, it will excel at those tasks.
