I have collected many a knife over the years.
However I cant sharpen a knife on a stone worth a darn.
I have a Lansky System now.
Looking for something in that price but easy.
Thanks in advance of any input.

I used a smith's system for about 3 years. The kit with the coarse, fine and serration sharpener. It worked great for me and I only paid about $30 for it. However I recently tightened my stone on to the rod too far and the plastic cracked rendering it useless. They're a great system until you thread the rod down tight.

You have to check out Fred Rowe,s ERU sharpening system,it sounds exactly like
what you need. I cant say enough about it. I've had mine a couple months and love.
CPM,stainless ,carbon all no problem. It can be dialed in perfectly with no risk of
scratching the sides.Very little learning curve and produces a very sharp edge. Good luck.
