I had the rubber tire come loose on my OLD bandsaw so I cleaned both the wheel and the rubber band. Then coated both with Loctite contact cement, waited about 1/2 hr and reinstalled the band. Guess what -- it came right back off:mad: The contact cement didn't stick to the rubber even though I felt I did a real good job of cleaning it.
What adhesive have you had luck with?

Go to www.HartvilleTool.com and buy some new polyurethane tires. They are cheap and require no gluing. I have them on my old Delta, which was built in 1947. :D

I used Barges Contact glue and it worked fine on mine. If I was guessing, I would say you either did not put a heavy enough coat on both parts or you let it sit too long before putting together
