A while back, I was on a thread about Altoid's tins. I said, I don't carry them anyone because of comfort. The hard case clangs and rubs against my legs. I find a simple cloth change purse is more comfortable and doesn't attract much attention if I decided to take it out.

Anyway, here is a picture of it that I promised. I finally made a photobucket acct. Beware!

This one is a bare bones mini that I carry the most often.

Contents list:

3 parafin coated cotton balls
1 sm. bic lighter
2 packets of hemp
1 sm. Ferro rod
1 SAK ambassador
1 LED white light attached by key ring.
2 fishhooks
2 safety pins not pictured
1 paper clip

Between the hemp the little baggies and the bag colors I would check your pupils, and have you pee in a cup. :D

I would throw in some chord and a wire saw for shelter building but other than that it seems pretty cool
 
You're telling me that bright pride bag doesn't get attention when a guy takes it out? Are you hiking throught San Fransisco?

Just kidding. My friend Donovan has also switched to a small flexible pouch (purse). He said it's much more comfortable in his cargo pocket.
 
Hey, what is a bright pride bag? I feel like I am getting my self into trouble.
 
He means the rainbow colors might indicate that you are showing your... man-love pride.
 
That is funny. However, my kit is close to the high times crowd. So I can attract the wrong type of attention from police.

From a utilitarian standpoint, it looks OK...I'd ad a few OTC meds.

From a lifestyles point of view, it looks, well, "rainbowish"....

(the red ziplocks look like used comdom packets, and that doesn't help my mental image much...)

Well it definatly ain't tacticool :D and I would suspect it held some sweet ganj. :D


Good idea though , the only drawback I could see is it's not waterproof.


At least you could unravel it for cordage. :D:)
 
It is funny how you buy something without any thought other than function and then all these associations are part of it.

I don't want the tactical look that is for sure but I also don't want the ganja look. After posting this, I realize that a police officier might raise an eyebrow and that is something I try hard not to make happen.
