For those looking to do nice macros without the investment is an expensive lens a set of extension tubes can perform wonders and give a good feeling for the type of photography. They are much less expensive and because they can be used with any lens you own they add options if you do decide you need a dedicated macro.

Have the prices for Olympus lenses come down any? The bodies tend to be less pricey but the lenses are all of the expensive side, at least from my last research.
