A Dry Khuk is a CRACKED Khuk, and Boy, I feel like a dope!

Time for me to make up another batch of Khukri Sutra oil. That consists of 6 to 8 ozs of Kama Sutra oil and a tablespoon or more of clove oil. Doesn't do anything plain old vegetable oil wouldn't do, but oh does it smell wonderful. Wipe the handle, the blade, the outside of the scabbard, dribble a little into the scabbard's inside.

After all, if I were a khuk, I'd want to be pampered a bit between jobs too.

Re baby oil: Coincidentally, I just got a bottle of unknown-brand baby oil and tried it out on horn karda and chakma handles (didn't risk the handle on the big knife yet). No ill results so far. The label on the bottle says it consists of mineral oil and fragrance, so I suppose mineral oil might do. Will post again if anything surprising happens to the handles...
