A Fella Gets Lucky Now and Again PartII

I guess nobody likes snakewood?? LOL.
I am looking forward to this knife. I havn't had a Gen5 in my hands of yet; and except for Stainz can't remember to much being said about it.

Does anyone else besides Stainz use the Gen5 regularily??

I'm surprised that no one has posted any information yet that this year's BCCI knife is a Gen5 with bloody jasper, turquoise, and natural bone handles. I'm not much into fixed blades, but for the price, this one looks to be a keeper.

Oh Man, I'm sorry that I missed comenting on it. I love that snakewood and you got a killer deal on it. Did it come with the fancy sheath that was shown in the catalog?

I've never seen a Gen-5 "in person" myself, but since I've started getting interested in fixed blades, I'm sure I'll invest in a couple or ten of them.

I'm going to order the BCCI member Gen-5, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

You inspired me to get one Gordon. I just got this one and I don't know why, but I was really surprised at how small it is. I like it though and I'm sure I'll get at least one more model to carry occasionally.

I was also surprised at the smallness of the Gen5.
I still may get a 420hc/charcoal model...not sure though. I've starting to have definate problems showing all my carry knives enough attention.

Stainz really like the base model so if your gonna go for a user piece maybe that's the one for you.

Forgot, very nice knife. Pearl inlay is really a nice touch. g

Thanks Dave, Love your G5 too...This one is going to Oregon this year... I hope to try it out...
