A few complaints...

I know, you're thinking "Complaints? How could you have complaints about Spyderco?" Well, I do. My first complaint/question is as follows:

At the dentist's office on Wed., I sat down in a chair obviously not made for a man of my size. My new Endura got caught on the arm, and I ended up forcing the clip to rotate almost 180°. It goes back to the original position just fine but it's too loose now. Is there a way to tighten it?

Secondly, I just got my $39.99 Rookie in the mail. I love the shape and thickness of the blade, but it's just too damn small for my hands. I figured at almost 7" overall that it would be fine, but I can only barely open it one handed. I may just end up giving it to my sister.

There. I feel better. I'm so glad I have a place to go when I need to gripe.

Hmm. I just got my $39.99 Rookies in the mail from SMKW as well. One for me and one for my wife. I love them. The size is perfect but, admittedly, I have small hands. Disco Stu, perhaps the full-size Police would be better for you? Anyway, I'm very happy to get two nice knives for less than the M.S.R.P. for one.

Disco Stu - those were the nicest complaints I've ever seen

Tightening may not do the trick if the handle itself was damaged. Although even if it was not, your best bet will be to get a new clip. I'll email you with the details.

Stu, what has worked for me is to take the clip off the knife. Use 2 pairs of pliers(one on each end) and bend it back to the original shape. Reinstall on the knife, it should be tight. Also use cloth around the clip if you dont want to scratch it with the pliers.
