A few first for me (Loveless stuff of course)

The Loveless style can be likened to the 'blues' in music.

Traditional, simple chord pattern, and yet done a million times differently.

People will always love the blues. People will always love Loveless designs.

David: Nicely accomplished!

Well said and so true.
Exceptional ALL, David.

"The Loveless style is becoming a bit ubiquitous for me though." That's because they sell. Man's got to keep food on the table. :) However, the good reproductions, such as these, are few and far between.

Great looking work! I really like the integrals and the splash of red on the mortise design. Way to put your own spin on a classic design.

Glad to see your work back on the forums David!

Just incredible. :)

Love the mortised tang Big Bear or should I call it an 8" Fighter? Must be real fast and well balanced, bet it handles well.

Hi Marcus,

When I saw this, I was way hungover and sweating bullets......BUT.....It was hard to put down....really nice snap, balance and yes, very fast.

Plus, it feels super good in the hand.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

It was a 8.5" BB that I forgot to scribe a plunge limit line on so my plunges where on top of the guard. So it ended up being slightly over a 9" blade. I was stoked that I was able to grind it without a hint of a 2" mark.

Anyways thanks for the comments; good to see you here Marcus. I've just been keeping my head down trying to make the next better than the last.
