If it's blue it's dyed (right?), and if it's dyed (assuming professionally) then it's dyed while stabilizing.

Great choice for wood and color too.

Thanks Strig. Does anyone know if usaknifemaker will cut up the blocks into scales? I have a gift cert. from there..
