M.Attilio , Italy ? , " Stabber Jack" 4-5/8" closed . Bail is tight. "Proud" pivot pin on brass bolsters ( need a polish/tlc) , Huge thick slabs of horn. Swedge is on one side of blade, kinda neat. Blade appears original factory edge. Knife is probably never used, shows a few faint handling marks ,and a few spots on steel liners ? but overall good with intense snap, half stop, tight " lock up" ( this is a slipjoint) ,no wiggle. Very unique knife, not sure of it's vintage. I've never seen another slipjoint from Italy quite like it Price includes Paypal fee's and shipping in the States No trades,Paypal only please $45.

You got it Duncan I think you'll like that. Antique Italian knife there. Never used just stored away

That's a big stockman!

You happen to know what the blade steel is on that big boy?

The main blade is tang stamped on the mark side with a hen & rooster and below Solingen, over Germany,on the backside tang of that blade it it reads Bertram over Cutlery over Rostfrei

So I'd say ss of some sort This is a nice large slender knife . I am very tempted to want to carry it. The sheepsfoot is 2-3/4" from tip to bolster with 2-3/8" of cutting edge. Very appealing knife

It is very appealing! Larger than I would want to carry but I love the shape of the main and color. The long pull also.

Rostfrei means rust free in German. The steel on that knife is a Stainless steel
