Got a few new knives, and thought I'd share. I'm not really into big blades, so I'm not sure I'll keep 'em, but thought I'd show 'em off anyway. Left to right: S&W HRT Combat & Survival, Ranger RD-6, Blackjack Grunt (China version).

very nice... i just scored one of those grunts.... it's not bad at all for being made in china.... it's wicked sharp...

nice Ranger

Yeah, it's really nice. It's a beast though. Carrying may lead to back problems :D.

It's a steal at $20. I haven't used it much, but I imagine it will hold up fine. Mike Stewart compared the steel to AUS-10.

Nice haul, what are those scales on the ranger?

Those are black, pistachio, and tan micarta.

I have a Grunt and love it but if those 3 were mine and I was going to only keep one, it would be the Ranger, no question....great knife !!!

I just got the Ranger a couple of hours ago. The more I fondle it, the more I like it. It's very comfortable, despite it's weight, and I could probably dismantle a small city with it.

The Blackjack, like I said, is a steal. It's very comfortable, convex ground, and 3/16" thick. It doesn't really excel at anything, but would still make a nice camp knife.

The S&W is surprisingly nice. The handle is very ergonomic. The sheath is nice. If the steel is anything like they use in their S&R line, then it should be very tough. Noss's test shocked me on that.

Almost forgot. These are new too. LM Wave and a 1986 Parker Edwards Small Trapper.

Sweet lookin' Ranger!

I can't wait for Noss's destruction test of the RD7, I have a strong feeling its going to be near the top of the heap :)
