I've been picking up some Schrades to give to the kids as gifts as they get older. So far I've got a couple of Uncle Henry penknives(104 UH), a 3OT, and a 34OT. All new, for very reasonable prices off ebay. I also managed to get myself a Toughtool and another 15OT. I'm impressed with the T-Tool so far, although it is abit larger than my other multitools. It packs alot of features and the pliers are great. The 15OT is practically unused and I feel like I almost stole it for what I paid for it. I have put my other 15OT up in the trade forum if anyone is looking for one. One question I'd like to ask is what are your opinions of the T-Tool, and how has yours held up under use. Seems very little is ever said about it.

My Tough Tool gets lots and lots of use. I have it here in my computer/knife/gun room and it's as handy in here as it is afield. I damaged mine once, by seriously misusing it, this was a couple of years ago, sent it back to Schrade, certainly stating how it was all my fault and asking them to send a bill after they fixed it for me. Of course they did not. It's one of two Schrades that always go hunting with me. The other is the Buzzsaw trapper. I need to have a single sheath made to carry them both. With those two, I can handle, absolutely, anything that comes up. Yes, this is a big tool, which is why I get so much use out of it. Can really bear down on things, nice and comfortable handles.

I thought so much of mine, that as I was getting my step brother a kit bag together of things to take to Iraq, I included one. I could afford to buy him any multi-tool out there, and didn't want him to be let down by it, so I choose the the T-tool. I think that give you an idea of how highly I regard it.

I hear what you say Tex, there aren't to many outdoor utility or survival tasks that a T-tool can't handle when coupled with another good knife. The saw works almost as well as the one on SAK Farmer and the straight scraper blade seems like it was made for using with a firesteel and , once again, the pliers are great.
