Got some time out in the shop this weekend finally to work up some sheaths I've been wanting to do for awhile.
First off, a high-ride rig for my RC-6. It sits nice and high and allows easy resheathing. I think I'll get more use outta my 6 with this rig.
I also made up a decent sheath for the MONSTER RTAKII.
I picked this up in a trade a few weeks ago and have used the hell out of it since then. Blade is great, handle and sheath .......not so much.
I'm really excited to get my grubby mits on the RAT cutlery version and do a comparo. It'll be my first article I plan on shopping around to a few of the magazines, a long time dream of mine is to be published in one of the knife mags.
Lastly, a few Izzy sheaths, one of which the Mrs. will be giving away on this very forum when she reaches 1000 posts.
I've been trying out a few different styles to see what I think works best.
Still not sure.
This is a new style for me, makes resheathing much easier.
Beaver checking over my work..... she said it was "ok", "It'll do the job I guess" she said.
And lastly, I picked up a new hat this week and it freaking kicks ass!
It's from "The Real Deal Brazil",

I've been wanting one for a long time and I finally found one locally and didn't have to pay for shipping.
It's made from truck tarps from the Amazon coridor and sewn by the Brazilian people. Love the recycling aspect and they look cool to boot!
Check them out, worth the $30 bucks IMO.
