A few new sheaths and a kickass hat!

man.. nice work on those sheaths...:thumbup: i still need to get another sheath for my Izula...:)
 
Do the shipped hats have the "Real Deal" logo on them, as pictured on their web site? I like the hats but don't necessarily want the logo.

ha! that's why the izula sheath got switched apparently there was a minor scratch on the one i picked for my 1k giveaway. She was pretty nasty about it too.:eek: wonder where she gets her attitude from:confused:
 
Well MrShotty, you've gone and done it now.... Had to order the hat, just had to have it, and since I didnt want to pay for shipping twice, I ordered the backpack too.... MrsCoffee is unthrilled I spent the $$$$, so I told her to take it up with you, it IS your fault after all... can't expect a RC Addict to have any self control about buying stuff that looks cool.... :)
 
Speakin' of canvas and sheaths... I just bought a couple Mora knives (wanted to see why so many people swear by them) and I think that a lightweight canvas sheath, with hard liner, might make a good replacement for the crappy plastic sheath that came with them. I wish my brother still had his upholstery shop. Anyone know of someone who might fashion such a sheath or am I going to have to do it myself?

The one I got doesn't have the logo. Not sure if you can request no logo when you order or not.:confused:

Yes, along with a kickass hat, some sheaths and no work, I got to go to one of my favorite eateries. MMMmmmmmmmmm.......... chinese food.

I asked the Real Deal folks about their logo and here's their response:

"We recently changed the design of our hats so that the logo is now on the inside of the hat."

I now have one on order. Thanks, shotgunner! :thumbup:

Heads up if you order one from amazon.com: The vendor that sells them via Amazon (The Hammock Company, very responsive to questions) stated that their inventory of RD tarp hats has the logo on the outside of the hat. Not a problem if that's what one wants. :)
 
I really like the sheaths you made Shotgunner!! Great craftsmanship! Now if only I could do that.........

lucky! i tried ordering RAT patches today and all the izula ant patches are sold out.:(
