Been busy making these, lately, but haven't posted often, namely because these are all usually spoken for before I finish them. All of these feature a hand polished beveled spine.

First up is an 8-1/2" blade with sori in .295" thick Crucible CPM-4v, featuring a lenticular grind and a brilliant red rayskin handle with a touch of 'coffin-handle' to the butt. This customer requested a kydex sheath as well as the shark skin covered, ultrasuede-line aluminum sheath shown here:

This one is kind of a newer model, for me - yet again in .295" thick Crucible CPM-4v, but with a 6" flat ground blade and a tapered tang under the black rayskin and tsukaito:

Last up is a complement to the 14" wakizashi I posted here. The customer that bought the waki had initially requested a 5" model, so I can enough sense to save the materials to make the appropriate match. This, too, is flat ground in .295" thick Crucible CPM-4v.

There's one more, but the owner suggested we have this one shot by Mr. Cooper, so I'll follow up with the results from that soon, hopefully.

Thanks for looking, gang!

Absolute works of art!!!! I need to scrape up my penny's so I can join the club. I just don't see how you can improve upon Matt's work. AT ALL. The knife community is blessed and honored to have such a talent gracing it's presence.

You know I'm a fan.

Those are very appealing, I like your work!

What, no Youtube vid of the knives turning a piece of 2-lb test fishing line into a micro fuzz stick? No footage of splitting a ladybug's eyelash into microscope slide slices?

The proportions of this really sing to me, man. The point where the "shinogi-ji" meets the spine seems to be at exactly the right spot. It's got that whole Fibonacci thang going on.

I hate to admit it but you actually did a good job. (get a screen-shot before I edit this out)

Ps. Did you take this pic with the knife resting on your naked thigh? SPF 60, buddy... use it.
