Hey Guys, Here's a few blades I've been working on. Please feel free to pick em apart, just dont whine to much about the picture quality, we're down to my duaghters cheap digital. I need some constructive criticism to get better. So lemme have it.
This is a small hunter Made from 5/32 O1, 6-5/16" long has a "Fiddleback" or "Flame" Maple Handle held on by hand peened brass rivits. I mirrored the sides and left the spine in "Brute de Forge" for contrast.

This is my first request for a knife. I made it for a great friend of mine a former Navy Chief. It's a Hook Bill design with red oak handles again held on with hand peened brass rivits. I cold blued it and was able to get faint Blue and Yellow tonal (USN Colors) streaks in blueing. The spine is left "Brute de Forge" becuase it seemed to work really well with the overall scheme.
The particulars are it's 3/16, 1095 steel, 11-1/2" long.

This is a Sawless WSK I tried my hand at. It's 10-1/2" of 5160 leaf spring with a reverse distal taper ot 3/16" at the butt to 5/16" at the head. It's forged ofcourse and left with it's Forge scale skin in place. (It's a user, for me, so it has to be ugly or I wont want to use it.) It also has a flame or fiddleback maple handle with hand peened brass rivits.

This is a medium Gut-Hook Skinner I made for one of my best friends. It's 7" of mirror polished hand forged 5160. Elk antler handles.hand peened brass rivits.

and lastly a small purse knife I made to look "knapped" and fire colored blue for my wife, it's an old file and was treated like W1. And a cable splicers knife I made for a buddly of mine that is a phone repairman for SBC. the blade is the same file as the knapped knife, and the handle is leather wrapped 5/8's 1018 cold forged square and held in place with a singe hand peened brass rivit.
