A few of my Throwers

Slick looking set, mang! I really like the look of those condors; haven't had a chance to throw one yet. But I went through my share of True Flights when I first started out.

What I want to know is if you threw them into the target like that... or placed and tapped them into that position?

Also, what kind of wood is that round?

I am pretty good at no-spin but not quite that good yet. I just hand stuck them in the round for this photo. My neighbor cut down several trees a couple months ago and I cut these rounds from them. I believe its from Sweet Gum trees. I let it sit for a few weeks to season and my knives and hawks stick well in these rounds.

I have been eye ballin' your throwers recently and I may get a couple. I have a birthday coming up in Oct. and may drop the wife a hint.

Sweet gum wood. Cool!

Looks like it allows for penetration without getting chewed up too much.
I'm out here in Washitngton State and we've got tons of pine, fir and cedar.
All of which are fairly soft and they get chewed up pretty quickly.
Though I suppose you throw several hundred throws into anything and its going to show.
