Thanks guys, I really appreciate the comments. I don't know why I haven't made myself an Estela Bolo yet. Every time I make one I really love the way it feels in the hand. Kev really came up with a great design.
Good luck Mike. Our late muzzleloader is in for the next 2 weeks. I'm hoping to get out some for it.

Any chance of a in-hand shot of the bolo? Or a ruler laid out next to the handle.

Welcome to the "FLIP" side. The bolo you made me has been a great Camp-panion and has received a lot o attention. I have another Filipino design I've been messing around with lately. What is the specs on that 5" Tusker? What Steel, thickness, overall length? I've got 2 of your knives and you kill my wallet...
