A few pics of my BR after I spanked it

I like that much better than with the coating. Did you sand it off, or did you put some kind of stripper on it?

Actually both.....I didn't want a real mirror finish I think I used 180 then 220, and finally a scotch brite pad.

Hours????? Not real sure it was a off and on project...maybe 3 total

I took out some frustration on a Pine they had cut down at work first, I chopped for almost 2 and a half hours that got very little of the finish off, just smoothed it out, and after a quick round with the strop it was back to shaving.:D
 
Good work Raden. That looks SOOOO sweet. It makes me want one of those LE Battle Rats even more. Now I am glad I put myself on the list for an LE BR. It looks really nice with that satin finish. I wonder, will the LE's show that same hamon line appearance also? Thae is another nice touch.
 
Raden you didn't just spank that thing. You skinned it alive!!! It looks great too! Gotta love that hamon.
