A Few Pictures from Spirit of Steel Show

Dude, that's actually me. Now my feelings are hurt.

You are such a liar. You wish your afro was that big.

AND it's shopped:

In my studies of the so-called Barlow Warriors, I've read that individual assassins would fashion similar pontoons on a smaller scale when they needed to cross a body of water.

two words: big pimpin'.

Here are a few personal scores from the show.

I picked up some of this stuff. It's supposed to change my life, and apparently, I can eat it on a salad. I just tried it on a tomato sandwich, and it's not half bad.

I also got a Blind Horse Knives large Nessmuk and a LMF Army firesteel to go in the sheath.

I have been wanting to try a Marbles 18" machete from SMKW, and trade picked this one up for me. Apparently, snowballs do have a chance in hell.
The machete is light and choppy, and I really like the sheath and stone that came with it. Lots of pockets for storing stuff.
I'm going to strip the handle though and do a little sanding, maybe a little file work too.

I also picked up what looks to be a Becker Machax from a scraggly looking vendor at the show.
No blade markings on this one, so it may be a fake. Still, it'll make a good beater, I think.

As if there was a single one of us that wouldn't enjoy the hell out of tooling around on that thing.
