It does look a bit "industrial". That's the only sheath I've used those loops on. I usually use a standard single loop or webbing loops. They work well for larger knives though. I can adjust to several heights and adjust for tilt and crossdraw without changing hardware.

The handle on that knife does kinda look like snow tire treads!
