My drawer for slipjoints in getting a little crowded, so I'll let a few of these go if anyone is interested. Paypal is preferred and so I'll pick up the fees and USPS shipping inside the US. I'm pretty sure all of these have their original boxes/tubes/papers. They are all mint and uncarried.

1 - Original Lionsteel Roundhead with wood covers and M390 blade. $125
2 - Recent run Lionsteel Shuffler with blond ram's horn covers and M390 clip point blade - $125
3 - KaBar trapper with reclaimed chestnut covers (this was hard to find when I was gathering chestnut wood covered knives) $85
4 - Original run Beer Scout in Cocobolo wood. Complete with original tube, Beer Scout pin, etc. The color and grain are beautiful on this one. $SPF

Please PM or email me with any questions.

What's the blade steel on that KaBar trapper?
I believe it's D2 or 440C, but I'll check when I get home later.

Update - I can’t find any mention of the blade steel on the box or papers that came with the knife. I would assume 440C as most of the ads I can find for the knife across the web mention that alloy most often. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.

Ok in the pictures it’s hard to tell but the horn looked a little proud of the bolsters. Unless you have some wiggle room on the roundhead, I’ll take the shuffler. Can you email me your info at ffbigdawg@usa.com

Well, the horn material has a natural curve to it and the joint between the horn and the flat bolster is tapered, or a bit proud as you say. If that bothers you, you may want to consider it. I can send you some close up pictures tomorrow if you like.

Thanks.
