A great deal of you here are aware that I have been involved in a project of building 20 CKCA Club Knives that were offered for the first time this year to CKCA members.
Then again, maybe some of you did not know that.
In addition, it's been a short while since I've posted any of them, and while having a few moments here between Club Knife #18 and #19, I thought I might post a few up for something to look at.
They are mostly self-explanatory.
Of the 20, I think three were ordered in 52100, and the remainder were ordered in W2.
So - no hamon = 52100.
Not all of them are here, but enough to get bored with before you finish!
Enjoy.

Those are all really nice Karl. The hamons are great. But the ones that really stand out to me are the ones with the ironwood handles.

All are very nice, but I love the one you made for Kenneth Springer.

Seeing all those babies with spalted maple just makes commenting required. They're really quite a beautiful group - especially when so many appear together.

Great to see so many together in on place with all the different handle options. You did a fine job with this project Karl.

Holy Cow Karl, you've been super busy. Thats one heck of a line up and the use of a lot of satinite, very nicely done on them all, it would be hard for me to pick just one for a favorite..:thumbup:

They all look terrific Karl. I like the organization skills you seem to have. Nice pictures and names too.

Those are all cool. I can't wait to get mine in a few days, it looks great!

Very impressive Karl! :)

I'm with Danbo... even though they are all quite similar, the Springer one really grabs me. :)

They are quite characteristic with the different handles and hamons.

Me? I like this one best. Simple and rich:

A style for everyone! Nicely done, Karl.

It's quite impressive to complete 20 fully "Custom" club knives on schedule. Karl delivered the first few at Blade Show last June so he's been busy since then. All very similar thus easily recognized as a CKCA club knife, however all unique and beautiful in it's own way.

A total success! Thanks to Karl and Larry Bailey for a job very well done.

The CKCA will not create a club knife in 2011 but already have a maker and knife design set for 2012. More details to come on the 2012 project.
