A fine set that has a very heavy stand. The handle is fossil walrus tusk tip. I made the Damascus out of 1080 and 15n20. The knife is ground by Jaden Marcotte who was my apprentice and this is a collaboration as I constructed the knife and made the stand. The blade is 3 1/2 inches and overall is is 7 inches. The stand is made from solid stock of brass and column is solid as is the rest. This stand is very heavy. 5 3/4 tall. 4 inches tall. After machining and sanding to a fine brush finish I coated with a lacquer that prevents tarnish. oh yea, did I mention it is heavy. Knife is sharp. Also comes with a sheath if you need to take it somewhere. This is one of my finer pieces. The set is 'SOLD" and 15.00 for mail in USA address . I only take check or money order. Beautiful my friend!!! I’ve had my set of knives in their stand on display since I acquired them years ago….I’m sure Michael will love his. 👏 :cool:
