Here is one you won't see me make again like this because I don't think I will ever find matching fossil walrus for a set like this. Fossil walrus ivory on both knives. Fittings are nickel silver and sterling. I made the Ladder pattern Damascus out of 1080 and 15n20 steel for both blades. The smaller has a higher layer count. The dagger is ground from 1/4" thick billet and the Blade length is 3 5/8 inches and overall length is 7 1/4 inches. The stand is made from solid stock of brass. After machining and sanding to a fine brush finish I coated with a lacquer that prevents tarnish. It is heavy. Both knives are sharp. This is one of my finer pieces. The set is "SOLD" and 12.00 for mail in USA address . My paypal is dangraves4923@earthlink.net Thanks and enjoy the photo's.

Don,t say Damascus when paying by paypal as homeland security will put a hold on it.

Cant ship to New York, California and New Jersey. There is a ban there.

"Missed it by THIS much.... " - Maxwell Smart... :D

Beautiful piece Dan...

Guess I will have to make another set or 2. Thanks so much. Was a fun set to build. One of the hard parts was planning how to make a nice quality stand.

Super cool. I'd love to have one for myself, and several for gifts. Please make more of these sets sir. I'll be watching, waiting, and hoping to acquire one or more. Jesse

Really regret being busy last evening. This is one I would have loved to snag!! Congrats Walt. While I do have a custom desk knife within arm's reach .... would have loved to have this set setting on my desk!!! Beautiful!
