I doubt the Spyderco factory will be producing a flat ground Native anytime soon, but you can get one. Just take your old Native and ship it off to Tom Krein for a regrind. Then set about rubbing it in the Lum owner's faces!
The Lum Spyderco's are at a very different price point, and the next one being made is most likely the last (Bob Lum has got a deal with Benchmade... sadness). Personally I like the Lum Spyderco's for the aesthetics more than the grounds, but I may be the minority.

I'd love to see a full flat ground Native with no swedge grind. At the same time, kind of doubt it would cut any better than the Caly 3, Stretch or my A.T. Barr One Eyed Jack, so it might never see pocket time.
You could always take the hollow ground Native flat to the stone, which is what I'm doing to mine. Did it to my Byrd and now it feels like I'm cutting with an Opinel blade but with a comfy G10 handle attatched to it.
