Here is a knife blank forged from from Howard Clarks 1086M..Phillip bought a batch of the steel rom him some years ago and we still have some..This blank has been forged and then just the outline cleaned up..Their is still room to change the dimensions.Right now the knife blank is 9 1/4" long with a 4 1/2" blade and about 1/4" thick at its thickest.It was forged with a distal taper and a tapered tang. I was going to shorten the blade and lngthen the handle but i just dont have to time to finish it...This 1086M produces a beautiful hamon..
