A friend has an inoperable brain tumor.... prayers and thoughts please....

Prayers for your friend, his family and friends from Tennessee.

The Big C is a terrible, ruthless killer. Though they are making some inroads in early detection and treatment, a cure won't come about in my lifetime, but maybe in my children's.
 
Prayers sent., I hope in my lifetime they make some big strides in curing cancer. My mom passed from breast cancer in 98.

Thank you very much, everyone. He came back to the dorm this evening and it was clear he had had a very long day. After chatting with him briefly, it was clear that his best friends little brother now resides in Heaven... :(

Even for someone like himself who has so much strength tied to his faith in God, he looked mentally and physically exhausted. Again, thank you.....
 
When I read your post, I knew it was a matter of time. :(
He is in a better place. :) Another prayer and some more smoke.
 
I am reading this after the fact. God's will is not always our will. This young man did not die in vain. Every day of life is a gift, it is not guaranteed, nor can you earn it. I am comforted that this person knew Christ. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. I now pray for your friend to find peace, and to live life full, and to help others through tough times. God is preparing your friend for something bigger. Find comfort that this person will only die once, and be eternally with Jesus in heaven.
 
Very saddened to hear of this young fellow passing so quickly. More prayers are being sent right now.
