I have asked a similar question to this on another part of the forum but, is their such a thing as a fully carbon fiber knife, I mean the handles and blade. I know it may not be practical but for premise I think it would be awesome to own one.

Warren Thomas comes to mind, he makes knives with carbon fiber handles and blades. Mark Terrell also makes some CF fixed blade neckers, or used to.

I forgot about charlie mike making them, good to know, and that is interesting henry makes them.

There were a couple from Kevin McClung (Mad Dog) some years back.

I think I have seen some by Snody as well.

I've made a couple myself a few years back(also some g10 ones). They were fun but I think what Warren Thomas does makes more sense....having the thin titanium with the carbidized edge composite with the carbon fiber. They have the benefits of a pure carbon fiber knife but it actually holds an edge well enough to be used.

Another alternative is ceramic and glass. I heard somewhere that at one point in time assasins used glass knives and then shattered them. Sounds a little fantasy esque to me, but im not denying that it might have happened.

If any of your have pictures of a fully carbon fiber knife, as in handles and blade, I would like a balisong to fit this the most. I know a few have been made.

Fox knives makes a knife made from carbon fiber with titanium at the edge.

Which reminds me... I have just enough CF to make one more.
