A.G. Russell has been working with some of the best custom slipjoint and lockback folder makers in the U.S. and Japan toward a project that will be shared at his second annual knife show this July in Rogers, Arkansas. Over twenty makers involved. Pre-ban elephant ivory scales used with U.S. makers, mammoth ivory used with Japan makers.

I offered to help him post these for all to share in this forum. Here are some of the earlier designs that have been completed and photographed. More to come.

Mike Alsdorf, small doctor's knife with scalpel blade:

Those are all nice, and I look forward to seeing the other knives in this project. I wish I could see them at his show. Thanks Joe.

The Hanson does look good. Looks to be a huge folder. Any idea on the size of the Moose Canoe? Ever since I picked up a Swayback Jack earlier this week, wharncliffe blades have been on my mind hehe.

Every one of those are gorgeous & well done.Unique knives,Thanks for posting !

I will buy the Gentleman's Jack (or Slim Stockman) as soon as it shows up on AG's website. That's a perfect design for my EDC in dress slacks.

They sure are all beautiful knives. I would purchace the Mike Alsdorf Doctors Knife. Very unique!

that Moose canoe is just amazing.

I love it.

It might weigh a tad heavy in the pocket, so maybe someone needs to design a nice little belt pouch for it.........

I like all the designs myself but the barlow is my favorite! Love the opening method and wish more knives used it.

Those are some outstanding folders. Thanks for showing them to us Joe.

Sweet! Love seeing the blueprints too. They're all gorgeous designs, but for me, the gentleman's jack/slim stockman is the one that really lights my fire. The old two blade premium stockman patterns (one spring) were some of the sweetest patterns ever IMO -- putting the shorter wharncliffe in there instead of the original spey or pen blade really works.
