And, another Mike Alsdorf 3-inch Doctor's Knife. This one with fantastic pearl, showing tints of red & blue:

That Moose Canoe is fantastic. Are there any knives currently in production in that pattern?

Please contact A.G. Russell directly via the forum or his website to inquire about the availability or future availability of any of these patterns. This thread is "show and tell" only. Thank you.

Not a fan of pearl but.....wow. That is something.....I love to see this one in person.

That doctor's knife catches my eye, partly because I used scalpels made in Germany back in the early 1960's when I was studying taxidermy, and partly because I would really like to get a cotton sampler. I would call this blade a "liver sampler." BTW, doctors don't use "real" knives sterilized in autoclaves any more. They open sterile packages that have various instruments such as suture tweezers, scissors, hemostats, etc., all made in China, and thrown away after the procedure, unless you ask to keep them. I had the pleasure of power tooling my poor old abused left index finger a year ago, and they gave me the throwaway tools.

I think the Don Hanson and the Alsdorf folders will be the biggest sellers. When will they come out?

God Bless
Thanks for the good words.

I think there is a little confussion here. These are knives A.G. is having made
for his personal collection. Some of these patterns may or may not make it
into production. A.G. told me he is having much fun with the project

A.G. is certainly lucky to have this opportunity and he definitely deserves it.
