A. G. Russell knives. Post them if you've got them.

AG Pinched Peanut with mammoth scales. Made in Japan. Smooth as butter. Love the wharncliffe secondary instead of the usual pen

A 2nd shot to out-Sebenza the Sebenza. I dont think it worked, but a valiant effort much better than other attempters.

This is in the grail category for me. I remember drooling over the ZDP Acies wishing I had the funds to afford one. I've never even handled one. Perhaps it's better that way?

Perhaps?... Wait, what am I saying? It’s never better that way.;)

It’s actually a really great knife and very interesting to compare directly against a small Sebenza 21. Better clip, more comfortable thumb stud, lip at the bottom of the handle keeps it snugger in the hand (for my hand anyway), and ZDP. I do like the texture of the Sebenza scales more, but that’s minor. My only gripe is that the inside edge of the lock bar is a bit sharp. If he would have chamfered that edge a bit it would be near perfect.

With all this talk, I think I’ll have to give it some pocket time tomorrow.

Is that Sunfish one you would sell ?

Hey Zito, thanks for the interest but i’m fond of my A.G. Sunfish so not for sale. I just purchased this 4” Sunfish from their current offerings. Comes in 4 different handle materials. This is the blue stabilized oak. Maybe the 4” will scratch your itch?

I was checking those out at Blade, impressive blade:handle ratio due to the unique lockbar pivot pin:)

All of my A.G. Lockbacks have very solid lockup, the new Sunfish is no exception.
Not talking about lockup, the 4" sunfish has an interrupted lockbar pivot pin, it's how they fit a blade almost as wide as the big one in a much smaller handle;)

wow, I really like the idea of that 4" sunfish, and the new blue oak burl... but I wish they didn't make the blade quite so wide... it's just too much, esp how it looks to be a half inch wider than the handle. If they could make it more reasonable, I'd be in

Thank you for the side by side - photo- I've always been curious about the Sunfish and the 2019's are a little smaller but isn't this a big knife with a thick blade and solid lock up - I'm looking for a cool lock back that is super stout
