While the Horn subject is alive and well (judging by the other topic on Horn), I too must admit my admiration for Mr. Horn. I really love his designs, and I would hope to own one of his customs someday. It's really nice Spyderco can bring us his designs at a great price, like all of the Spydie collaborations. Well, I'm wondering about the A.G. Russell exclusive full-size flat-ground Spyderco/Horns in white and burgundy. Does anyone own either of those two knives, and if so, do they have tight lock-up, or do they have blade play? I have one of the black micarta hollow-ground full-sizers, and it has a bit excessive blade play. Being I didn't pay too much for it, I'm not complaining all that much. But, if the knife didn't have so much blade play, it would be near perfect. I don't want to spend the bucks for the A.G. Russell model if they have similar blade problems. I have two of the smaller 3/4 size A.G. Russell Spyderco/Horns, one in white micarta with flat grind, and the other a hollow ground SS model. My A.G. 3/4 size Horns don't have the same problem as the full size Horn I own. I love both of the 3/4 models very much, especially the white flat-ground model. What a knife! Thanks for any info you can give...
