A.G. Russell sting boot knife

Here are some A.G. Russell 1977 Sting Boot Knifes, all of the small ones were made in 1977. How I can be sure of this is the spelling of Russell on the the blade with only one L. This error was discovered in the first few production runs.

Lycosa and Dusty one, thanks for the feedback, I do have 2 Limited Edition a StingI & StingII and one StingI with a Hippo Ivory handle in a wall display. On e-bay this week a Limited Edition sold for $405

David--- The Sting is one of the finest designed boot knives ever. I can't believe what they bring on the market now. My Brother has my Rosewood handled Sting.

I ordered/bought a Micarta handled one along with the then new Gerber Paul folder with the leather sheath......still have the Paul.

Remember waiting about a year, too.
