A.G. Russell Woodswalker, Small Photo Review

Thank you for that fine review, Marion. I have been looking at those in AG's catalogue for years, but never got around to getting one. As an old squirrel hunter and occassional picnicker, I think that knife just might be perfect.

I bought one of these several years back. I carry it every time I am afield. The knife also goes with me around town, in the leather pocket holster.
I have a very high regard for this little gem.

They are a good 'un, aren't they...

This little AG Russell is about the only factory knife that I prefer over something custom/hand made. I have yet to see, or use a better neck knife.

I love mine. I've had it close to a decade. I made a belt sheath for it and just got the Kydex neck sheath. There are very handy and usable. I also have a BK11 and the Hartsook. I added a clip to the BK11 sheath. The Hartsook is now on a key chain with a flashlight, firestarted, and Leatherman Squirt. The WW is great in the garden/kitchen and the field. I have cleaned many birds with it and though I have yet to use it as such - it should make a good capping knife.

The pocket sheath fits perfectly in the breast pocket of my Filson vest. Overall a good value knife with lots of utility. Mine is actually sitting right here - makes a good letter opener.

With all the fancy knives you have, I would think you already be all over this little gem!

Quite nice, really quite nice.

It really is a knife that is easy to hand, and well useful, well useful.

I was just thinking today, that I would like it a bit better, if the tip was a bit more acute, but other than that, it is near perfection for it's type. And the acute bit, is but a trifling.

Best,
Marion
